The Plain English Awards celebrate what all communicators should strive for. It's great to be recognised for our use of language that is accessible and easily understood.
The NZ Transport Agency has a vast and varied audience. For the Feet First (walk to school) project we worked with schools, whanau and councils to make sure we were using the right language for the people we needed to reach.
We've had great feedback from the schools involved in Feet First . They've found our communications easy to understand, fun and engaging.
